A diaphragm compressor for hydrogen service is shown in the images below. Power is 175 hp, with a suction pressure of 400 Psi (27.6 bar) maximum and discharge of 500 Psi (34.5 bar). Flow rate is 2000 SCFM (3,170 Nm³/hr). This is a stand-alone system with several shut down alarms, Rosemount transmitters, flow control valve, ASME Code Section VIII inlet and outlet tanks and filters. Two duplex compressors with 35 inch (89 cm) diameter heads (one compressor is used as a back-up). The compressor offers an automatic unloading system. Electrical classifications are to European standards. Approximate weight of the compressor is 50,000 pounds (22,700 kg). Skid dimensions are 18 feet long by 10 feet wide by 12 feet high (5.5 m d x 3 m w x 3.6 m h). A crane lifting attachment is included for ease of shipment and installation.
