PDC's compressors (diaphragm) for use in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (car,
bus and forklift fueling) as well as solar power, wind energy and biomass
power. Typical gases include Silane, Fluorine and Nitrogen Trifluoride and
many other specialty gases.

PDC specializes in providing Hydrogen compressors for refueling internal combustion engines
and fuel cell powered vehicles. Models are available for applications ranging from single
auto demo sites to full-scale production sites designed to fuel 25 and more vehicles per
day. PDC offers engineered systems that are compatible with typical compressor inlet and
discharge conditions for most Hydrogen fueling applications. Inlet pressures of 100-200 Psi
(0.7-1.4 MPa) and discharge pressures of 3600, 7000, 12,000 and 15,000 Psi (25, 48, 83, 103 MPa)
are available with flow rates from 50 to 2000 SCFH (1 to 54 Nm3/hr). Suction source can be
from generators, reformers or tube trailers.
PDC offers a model featuring up to 3000 Psi (21 MPa) suction and 6000 Psi (41 MPa) discharge pressures with a
flow rate 74,640 SCFH (2000 Nm3/hr). This compressor can fill a typical alternate fuel bus in approximately 10 minutes.
PDC compressors provide high-pressure compression of fuel gases for filling and off-loading of Hydrogen from tube trailers.
PDC compressors provide high-pressure compression of Hydrogen for filling portable gas cylinders and stationary storage vessels.
PDC offers a compact single stage model which can take 145 Psi (1 MPa) suction to 6,500 Psi (45 MPa) discharge with a
flow rate of 1 Nm3/hr, with power consumption of less than 1.5 KW. This model does not require any water for cooling.
Noise level is below 85 dBA at one meter. The footprint is approximately 18" x 18" x 36" high [457 x 457 x 914mm].
The weight is 550 pounds (250 Kg.). Many customers incorporate this compressor in their portable cabinets along
with their electrolyzers, reformers, cylinders, storage, fuel cells and electrical gears as a complete power producer.
PDC compressors provide high-pressure compression of fuel gases for gas blending, re-cycling, mixing and pressure boosting of gases for wind power, solar power and bio fuels.
The electrical power from wind turbines can be used to supply a water electrolyser, in order to electrochemically
split water into its elements, hydrogen and oxygen. Electrolysers can operate with variable power input.
The hydrogen produced can be compressed and stored for later use, either in a stationary fuel cell to produce
electricity when there is no wind, or to supply a hydrogen vehicle.
- Compressing high purity and specialty gases for the production of
polysilicon and other solar panel coatings and substrates
- Compressing gases for crystalline and thin film photovoltaic
(PV) modules for solar energy applications
- Typical gases include hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, trichlorosilane, disilane, and silane
