Boeing Research & Technology designed and engineered an off grid solar-powered hydrogen refueling station for UAVs at Ocana airfield,Spain. A PDC hydrogen compressor, powered by CPV modules, is used as part of the refueling system to compress hydrogen up to 300 barg to maximize the endurance of UAVs".
The first 700 bar high pressure hydrogen refueling station opened in the city of Holstebro in Denmark using a PDC high pressure reciprocating diaphragm compressor. The station enables a fast and uniform refueling of hydrogen in less than three minutes. The high storage pressure provides fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) with a driving range comparable to conventional gasoline powered vehicles. The station is developed by H2 Logic A/S and operated by the energy company Vestforsyning A/S, with support from the Danish EUDP program.
