The photo below shows a fully automated pilot plant consisting of monomer/catalyst feed modules, stirred reactors, and polymer product handling modules.  The system includes feed tanks on weigh scales, feed pumps, packed columns, condensers, decanters, and necessary instrumentation. The system uses a PC with remote I/O's for controls.
